About The Position
This role supports on-site drone delivery operations in a robotics and automation team focused on last-mile logistics. The position handles ground operations rather than flying drones: picking up prepared food orders from local merchants using a personal vehicle, transporting them to the drone site, and carefully loading orders into drones for accurate and safe handoffs. The role supports daily operations in a fast-moving test environment and helps improve processes and technology by identifying issues and sharing observations. The position requires working outdoors and on your feet, following safety protocols and site procedures, maintaining an organized workflow, and adapting as processes evolve. The Operations Specialist works closely with a small team and communicates observations to engineers, operators, and cross-functional partners, while representing the client professionally with merchants and community members. The role offers exposure to autonomous drone systems in last-mile delivery, cross-functional communication, live logistics operations, site operations, quality control, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
