About The Position

Lime is hiring Operations Specialists to support daily micromobility operations, including deploying and retrieving shared electric vehicles in the local market. The role involves safely driving a van, interacting with the community, addressing city requests, supporting events and battery-management operations, and maintaining vehicle quality and parking compliance. The position is contracted and employed and compensated by a third-party employer; compensation and benefits, if any, are determined and provided by that employer. The specified shift is 12:00 PM–8:30 PM.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Experience in a similar position and knowledge of local geography.
Ability to drive large vans and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to frequently lift up to 65 lbs / 35 kg.
Knowledge of cell phone applications.
Ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform quick, efficient repairs.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage daily tasks.
Safety-oriented mindset and ability to conduct rigorous quality checks.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with team members, riders, and city officials.
Must sign a waiver acknowledging the dual-facing AI dash cameras installed in Lime vehicles.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a van for several hours a day to deploy and retrieve Lime electric vehicles within the local market.
Interact with the local community to retrieve vehicles, assess risks, protect safety, and occasionally use de-escalation skills.
Address and resolve city requests related to stickers, reflectors, and other minor issues in accordance with Lime service level agreements.
Maintain communication with peers, the shift lead, and the manager.
Participate in Lime events by supporting valet services, staging, safety reviews, and vehicle cleanliness.
Support battery-management operations as applicable, ensuring accurate documentation, safety measures, and quality checks.
Perform preventative vehicle maintenance, including identifying and completing small repairs such as brake adjustments and tire inflation.
Assist with scooter rotation and warehouse flow.
Conduct on-foot patrols of designated local zones to ensure vehicle parking compliance and tidiness in accordance with city requests.
Detect and report unusual situations related to on-the-ground service and products.
Occasionally assist customers in the field with Lime vehicles.
Follow established safety procedures to ensure Lime riders use safe vehicles.
Operate a pallet jack or push cart as needed.
Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.
