About The Position

The Operations Specialist I coordinates and manages services requested by schools, placing qualified Education Professionals with clients. The role serves as a liaison between schools and Cross Country Education field employees, fulfilling day-to-day requests and arranging long-term services. The specialist may handle special assignments and conduct in-person or virtual orientations for employees and schools. The position works with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of data-entry experience.
• At least 1 year of office experience.
• At least 2 years of customer-service experience.
• Strong computer and technology skills, including Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of office experience, or similar.
• At least 3 years of customer-service experience.
• Experience using Google Drive, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Forms.
• Some college education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Responsibilities

• Offer assignments at client facilities to qualified field staff.
• Provide first-level support to field staff and clients.
• Manage open orders and fill open shifts with qualified field staff.
• Answer phone calls, texts, and emails between schools and Cross Country Education field staff, prioritizing tasks as needed.
• Foster and maintain excellent relationships among clients, field staff, and the corporate team.
• Enter data, including orders and employee files.
• Contribute to quality control checks.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management.
