About The Position

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT BASED ON CONTRACT AWARD. Compass Systems Inc. is seeking an Operations SME / Analyst to support data tracking, analysis, and reporting for Naval Special Warfare (NSW) unmanned systems (UxS) programs. This role focuses on maintaining and analyzing operational and training data to ensure accuracy, reliability, and informed decision-making in support of mission readiness. The Analyst will support NAVSPECWARCOM N37 by managing data systems, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve performance, efficiency, and compliance across UxS training and operational programs.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting operations, data analysis, or reporting within DoD or related environments
  • Experience working with data analysis tools (Microsoft Excel required; advanced analytics tools preferred)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, or data visualizations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Naval Special Warfare (NSW), NAVSPECWARCOM, USSOCOM, or other SOF organizations
  • Familiarity with COLTS, SHARP, DPAS, or similar DoD data systems
  • Experience supporting UxS operations, training data tracking, or readiness reporting
  • Experience building dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Basic experience with Python, R, or other data analysis tools
  • Familiarity with UxS platforms, maintenance tracking, or flight logging systems

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and analyze operational and training data within government systems (e.g., COLTS, SHARP, or similar platforms)
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness of data supporting UxS operations and readiness reporting
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support government decision-making
  • Identify trends, discrepancies, and performance gaps and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Support data collection, processing, and reporting for UxS training and operational activities
  • Assist in development of briefings, reports, and documentation for government stakeholders
  • Collaborate with training, logistics, and program management teams to support integrated reporting and analysis
  • Support system optimization and process improvement efforts related to data management
  • Participate in meetings, working groups, and program reviews as required
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with program requirements
