About The Position

We are seeking an Expert to lead technical execution of the planning, development, and integration of advanced manufacturing technologies to resolve technical manufacturing problems as well as guide the development of the next generation of a Manufacturing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) System. This high-level role acts as the technical authority, bridging complex business processes across the value stream. The ideal candidate will transform Aero Operations strategic objectives into business requirements defining the process elements of the product digital thread for manufacturing in collaboration with supply chain management, IT, Quality, E&T, Sustainment and the Digital Transformation Office for coordination with other functions.

Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive effective solutions in fast-paced implementation
Working knowledge of designing systems and architecture and their manufacturing applications
Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and the related integrations between these systems
Experience in Aerospace manufacturing systems, business processes, and/or methods with the ability to utilize that knowledge in developing a digital manufacturing system.
Strong interpersonal skills with operations technical concepts and non-technical stakeholders
Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearance
Must be a US Citizen.

Nice To Haves

PLM (TeamCenter and/or 3DX) and ERP (OneAero, ERP4C, and/or S4/HANA) manufacturing applications with experience in Production Scheduling, Complex Assembly Bills of Material, Process Plan, Condition of Supply, Tooling, Configuration Management, and/or Workflow processes.
Cross-functional experience within the product digital thread
Work with cross-functional teams for best solutions to support the business
Ability to partner with IT team

Responsibilities

Lead the Operations functional system design, focusing on cross-functional optimization and providing vision to the Aero business for model-based and transitional (non-model) needs.
Interact with senior personnel and senior management on significant technical matters, often requiring coordination between functions and other Lockheed Martin business areas.
Bridge the gap between 2D document-based solutions and 3D Model Based (MBD) solutions, leading data and solution transition initiatives.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to gather, analyze and translate complex business requirements into business system solutions and functional requirements.
Integral member of a cross organizational team of experts supporting the implementation of various production operations capabilities using the Siemens Xcelerator, SAP S/4 HANA, and Dassault 3DX tool suites.
Participate in solutioning, development, documentation, training, and deployment of new Production Operations Business Processes associated with the implementation of the Xcelerator, 3DX tools, and S/4 HANA.
Provide guidance and feedback to development teams during capability development and implementation.
