The manager will provide overall Quality leadership for the classified programs, ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 12207, and internal LM quality standards while driving a culture of accountability. He/she will administer program budgets (approximately $10 M‑$30 M) and develop, monitor, and adjust schedules using Earned Value Management techniques to keep projects on track. Direct supervision of roughly 60 personnel—including supervisors, inspectors, analysts, and engineers—will involve assigning work, evaluating performance, identifying skill gaps, and fostering professional development. Continuous‑improvement initiatives will be led through corrective‑preventive actions, root‑cause analyses, and Lean/Six‑Sigma projects aimed at reducing defects and increasing efficiency. The manager will collaborate closely with Engineering, Test Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, and external customers (DoD, DCMA, etc.) to meet quality, cost, and schedule commitments, while preparing and presenting status reports to senior leadership and customers. Additionally, the role will manage union and non‑union labor relations, oversee hiring, recognition, and disciplinary actions, and ensure all activities adhere to contractual and governmental regulations.
