About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is hiring an Operations Manager to plan, organize, staff, direct, and control the overall value stream operation. The role focuses on optimizing productivity, labor targets, quality, and customer service. It is on-site in Cleveland, Tennessee. Relocation assistance is available to candidates who live more than 50 miles from Cleveland, TN.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 3 years of experience managing people.

Responsibilities

Develop and monitor departmental and individual goals, objectives, and growth to improve plant performance.
Plan, develop, and install Industry 4.0 technology and concepts to improve High 5 metrics.
Use analytical skills for problem solving and decision making.
Coordinate projects and production programs in support of divisional and plant objectives.
Drive improvement efforts using tools such as Eaton Lean Systems and the Continuous Improvement Framework.
Plan, select, appraise, and develop personnel in support of plant objectives and corporate processes and expectations.
Communicate the progress of major plant activities to the Plant Manager and staff.
Maintain a safe work environment by providing facilities, manufacturing methods, tools, and equipment that comply with state and federal regulations and Eaton’s MESH requirements.
Implement or support programs intended to achieve prescribed productivity improvements.
