About The Position

Chimes is hiring an Operations Manager to lead facilities services at Fort George G. Meade. The position oversees day-to-day operations, leads a team of supervisors, and serves as the main point of contact for the customer. The work supports Chimes’ mission of creating employment for people with disabilities. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with no weekends. Compensation is $110,000 per year, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus. An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required. Veterans and transitioning service members are encouraged to apply, and military leadership experience counts.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Experience supervising or managing a team; military leadership experience is a plus.
Valid driver’s license held for at least 3 years.
U.S. citizenship.

Nice To Haves

College degree.
CPR/First Aid certification.
Spanish/English bilingual skills.
Experience with MAXIMO or similar tracking systems, CIMS, or green cleaning.

Responsibilities

Lead daily facilities operations and ensure all work meets customer specifications.
Hire, train, evaluate, and develop supervisors and staff.
Manage the quality control program, inspections, and corrective actions.
Lead safety training and keep SDS and chemical records current.
Manage schedules, timekeeping, payroll, and supply budgets.
Build strong relationships with facility staff and customer representatives.
Partner with HR, job coaches, and community agencies to support employees with disabilities.
