About The Position

Pure Fishing is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee an omni-channel operation serving Retail, Wholesale, Dealers & Distributors, and Ecommerce customers. The role manages the daily execution of warehouse, pick/pack, shipping, and inventory processes to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries. It calls for a strong consumer goods fulfillment background, a focus on efficiency and quality, and a collaborative approach across functions. The Operations Manager leads fulfillment operations and warehouse teams, oversees inventory accuracy and resource planning, advances continuous improvement, manages operational KPIs and budgets, supports customer service, and uses warehouse management, ERP, and order management systems to inform decisions and reporting. The role is based in a fast-paced warehouse and fulfillment environment. The manager spends time on the floor leading the team and may need to work occasional weekends or extended hours during peak periods. Some physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting, and handling product, is required. The facility prioritizes maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse, or operations management.
Proven leadership experience and a track record of developing high-performing teams.
Strong understanding of DTC fulfillment, pick/pack operations, and inventory management.
Familiarity with WMS, ERP, and operational systems.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Data-driven approach and experience developing and monitoring operational KPIs.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day multi-channel pick, pack, and ship processes to meet delivery and quality targets.
Oversee order integrity according to business and customer requirements, ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries.
Manage labor planning and resource allocation to align with order volumes and seasonal peaks.
Directly lead warehouse supervisors, leads, and associates; provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development opportunities.
Promote employee engagement, a strong safety culture, and internal cross-training.
Oversee inventory accuracy through process compliance, finished goods inventory management, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
Collaborate with supply chain and planning teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and scale operations in support of business growth.
Develop and monitor KPIs to track performance and drive accountability.
Oversee budgetary plans for areas of responsibility and make adjustments as needed to operational flow.
Partner with Customer Service to support an excellent post-purchase experience.
Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively with a consumer-first mindset.
Use WMS, ERP, and order management tools to support operational visibility and decision-making.
Provide leadership with accurate reporting and insights on operational performance and opportunities.
