About The Position

The Manager, Warehouse Operations supervises warehouse personnel and oversees receipts, stocking, inventories, order fulfillment, and shipments for LCI Distribution orders. The role is based in Durham, North Carolina, and works Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with some overnight travel required. Participation in a supervisor rotation for weeknights or Saturdays may be needed for the Durham location.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Minimum five years of warehouse experience.
• Forklift certified.
• Strong Microsoft Office and PC skills; competent with Manhattan and Word.
• Excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with employees and management.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Ability to develop and motivate a team.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to provide and support a vision and direction.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of college or advanced studies preferred.
• Axapta experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enforce policies and procedures for day-to-day receiving, shipping, warehousing, and inventory-control operations.
• Supervise warehouse and shipping personnel.
• Ensure incoming products are received and entered into computer systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure orders are processed within 48 hours and receipts are received complete within 24 hours.
• Initiate plans to support staff training and morale.
• Work with Quality Assurance to maintain inventory accuracy standards above industry standard.
• Maintain tour-level housekeeping standards every day.
• Help maintain a safe work environment through safety training and safe work practices.
• Lead by example and ensure employees are cross-trained on each Distribution Center job duty.
• Participate in the supervisor rotation for weeknights or Saturdays as needed at the Durham location.
• Ensure staffing does not exceed workload requirements.
• Order supplies based on need.
• Ensure accountability is consistent throughout the warehouse and at all levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
