About The Position

The Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient warehouse operations and implementing processes that optimize performance. The role leads and develops a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, promotes an inclusive and safe work environment, improves workflows and productivity, and supports customer satisfaction. The position contributes to DHL Supply Chain’s contract logistics operations. The organization emphasizes teamwork, associate development, training, and continuous improvement in a business-casual environment.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop Supervisors and indirect reports while building a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Develop and implement efficient workflows and labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
Uphold health and safety compliance and foster safety awareness throughout the organization.
Compile reports on KPIs, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to inform decisions and support continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on hiring Supervisors, providing recommendations to support talent selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders consistently and promptly.
Partner with customers and address concerns or issues to support exceptional customer satisfaction.
