About The Position

The Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain leads warehouse operations and implements processes to optimize efficiency. The role guides and develops a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fosters a safe and productive environment, and contributes to the organization’s operational success. It involves improving workflows and processes, monitoring operational performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders, and maintaining strong customer relationships. DHL Supply Chain North America operates more than 500 facilities, with over 50,000 associates across over 150 million square feet of warehouse space.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop Supervisors and indirect reports while building an inclusive team culture.
Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plans, standardized processes, and best practices to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
Uphold health and safety regulations and promote safety awareness throughout the organization.
Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy, to inform decisions and support continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration between leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on hiring Supervisors and provide input on candidate selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders consistently and promptly.
Partner with customers and proactively address concerns to achieve customer satisfaction.
