About The Position

This position includes operations, compliance, grant reporting, and general accounting functions of the Transportation Department as may be required by federal, state and local authorities. The Operations & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for assisting the overall operations and administration of the Transportation Department including asset control, grant reporting, accounting and back-up call center duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED required
  • Minimum 2 years' work experience of business theories and practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Strong customer focus & proactive nature
  • Extreme attention to detail in all aspects of work product & self-directed
  • Experience with computers and database systems
  • Drug screened upon being made a contingent offer of employment.
  • Subject to random drug screens.
  • Requires a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business or financial data, and measure effectiveness of business strategies or practices.
  • Coordinate regulatory documentation activities which includes data entry.
  • Develop training materials.
  • Collect data about customer needs.
  • Gather customer or ridership information to determine customer needs.
  • Verification of operational data per funder requirements and reporting guidelines.
  • Takes and completes calls of customers and/or drivers when serving in the role of dispatcher or customer service representative.
  • Schedule or dispatch drivers or service vehicles to appropriate locations, according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using radios or telephones.
  • Performs audits comparing data between systems and/or reports to ensure compliance.
  • Abides by FTHRA Personnel Rules and Regulations as may be amended from time to time.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
