The Operations Leader performs daily plant operations to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line, including Service Shops. The role oversees and manages front-line manufacturing employees, typically hourly employee populations, and may lead a junior team. Work affects the quality of the employee’s work and that of others on the team, and involves standard operational and technical tasks carried out according to instructions and established routines. The role may rearrange the sequence of tasks as work situations change and has some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. The position requires a sound understanding of the team’s work and how it integrates with other teams, as well as basic understanding of key business drivers. The Operations Leader applies technical knowledge and judgment to resolve issues within established procedures, consulting more senior team members on matters beyond defined instructions or parameters. The role may also explain technical information to others and, for customer-facing responsibilities, build customer relationships and serve as an interface between the customer and GE. This position works the 4th shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. For U.S.-based candidates, the stated pay range is $76,300 to $114,400, with geographic differentials in certain areas and eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus. The posting states that it is expected to remain open for at least seven days after October 22, 2026.
