About The Position
The Operations Lead in Training (OLIT) role is an entry point to a leadership career at Mister Car Wash. The position includes a focused 16-week training experience designed to build hands-on operational skills, foundational leadership abilities, confidence, judgment, and business acumen. The training prepares the employee to step into an Operations Lead role, with a stated path toward Assistant General Manager. The OLIT works closely with an experienced General Manager in a fast-paced, customer-service environment. The role focuses on delivering an excellent customer experience, supporting daily operations, developing sales and leadership skills, and contributing to a collaborative team. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-hire background check and Motor Vehicle Records check, if applicable.
Requirements
- At least one year of leadership experience, such as leading a team, supervising shifts, or managing people in a customer-facing environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced customer-service environment.
- Ability to lead by example, take ownership, and maintain high standards.
- Motivation and goal orientation, including when work is fast-paced.
- Ability to work in a team environment characterized by trust, accountability, and shared success.
- Adaptability, curiosity, and interest in beginning a leadership career.
- Successful completion of a pre-hire background check and Motor Vehicle Records check, if applicable.
