About The Position

The Operations Intern will support the bank’s day-to-day operations and gain hands-on experience in banking services while working with banking professionals. The role contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of banking operations through research, analysis, project support, and reporting. The intern will learn about relationship management and banking compliance and regulatory requirements, complete a summer project, and present key takeaways to branch and leadership staff at the end of the internship. The internship program offers professional development and personal growth opportunities, including lunch with leadership, networking, a capstone project, financial literacy studies, life-skills workshops, and a service project with fellow interns. The program is designed to provide meaningful experience and support interns’ professional and personal development.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a college or university, or a recent graduate, majoring in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional demeanor and dependability.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

Conduct research and analysis to contribute to project planning and decision-making.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and brainstorm ways to enhance efficiency within bank operations.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to project performance and operational metrics.
Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports as needed.
Shadow experienced professionals to understand relationship management.
Learn about compliance and regulatory requirements within the banking industry.
Complete a summer project and present key takeaways to branch and leadership staff at the end of the internship.
Participate in developmental and professional activities designed to support learning and exposure to the organization.
