  • Experience in a multi-plant manufacturing environment (e.g., metal fabrication, fixtures, or discrete manufacturing).

Responsibilities

  • Lead plant supply chain operations including demand and supply planning, production scheduling support, material requirements planning (MRP), purchasing, inventory control, and logistics coordination.
  • Own key plant supply chain KPIs such as on-time delivery, inventory turns and accuracy, material availability, and schedule feasibility.
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Customer Service to balance customer demand, capacity, and material constraints.
  • Lead, coach, and develop plant supply chain team members.
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles to reduce waste, shortages, and excess inventory.
  • Serve as a core supply chain team member and subject matter expert on the SAP S/4HANA implementation, representing plant and supply chain requirements.
  • Document current-state processes, help design future-state processes, and translate business needs into functional requirements for MM, PP, SD, and related modules.
  • Support configuration validation, master data definition and cleansing, data migration, and testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance).
  • Develop training materials, train end users, and act as a go-live champion and super-user for the plant.
  • Drive post-go-live stabilization, issue resolution, and ongoing process optimization within S/4HANA.
  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that bring data from SAP S/4HANA and other source systems into Snowflake, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and well-documented.
  • Develop data models and curated datasets that serve as a trusted single source of truth for supply chain and operational reporting.
  • Build and deploy company-wide applications, dashboards, and tools (e.g., using Streamlit in Snowflake or similar) that support planning, inventory visibility, supplier performance, and executive reporting.
  • Gather requirements from users across plants and corporate functions, prioritize the development backlog, and deliver solutions iteratively.
  • Establish standards for data governance, quality, security, and access in partnership with IT.
  • Promote data literacy and adoption of self-service analytics across the organization.
  • Lead the company-wide rollout and adoption of S/4HANA supply chain processes and Snowflake-based applications across all plants and corporate functions.
  • Develop and execute change management plans, including stakeholder analysis, communication plans, and readiness assessments for each site and user group.
  • Design and deliver training programs, user guides, and ongoing support resources; build and lead a network of site champions and super-users.
  • Define and track adoption metrics (e.g., active users, process compliance, report and app usage) and act on gaps to drive consistent, standardized use across the organization.
  • Partner with senior leadership, IT, Finance, and site leaders to maintain a technology roadmap and prioritize enhancements based on business value.
  • Standardize supply chain processes, data definitions, and best practices across sites so that tools and reporting work the same way company-wide.
