About The Position

At Bank of America, the Operations Consultant is responsible for resolving complex day-to-day problems and researching and executing complex transactions for a single site or business unit, or smaller business units. The role strategically advises on the design, development, and implementation of products, systems, and services, using discretion within project management methodologies.

The position is part of Global Credit Operations (GCO), which is responsible for the fulfillment, servicing, and protection of credit offerings for business banking, Global Wealth & Investment Management (GWIM), commercial and corporate clients, and leasing and trade products.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, secondary school qualification, or equivalent.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and macros.
• Proficient with asset-based lending and collateral analysis.
• Skills in customer and client focus, problem solving, risk management, adaptability, attention to detail, collaboration, critical thinking, issue management, analytical thinking, decision making, oral communications, and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient experience with Datawatch Monarch.

Responsibilities

• Advise on the design, development, and implementation of complex products, systems, and services in an operations environment using discretionary judgment.
• Advise on projects and direct team activities related to special initiatives.
• Serve as a technical expert in an assigned area, explaining business unit operations processes and their implications for other groups within operations.
• Consult on current-state processes, develop alternative future-state approaches, and facilitate implementations by creating a clear approach to program or initiative setup, execution, and control.
• Identify and recommend responsibilities and accountabilities for key programs and projects.
• Resolve complex day-to-day problems and research and execute complex transactions.
