The Operations Consultant I is responsible for directly managing a portfolio of clinically integrated multi-specialty practices and be accountable for driving overall performance results. This role involves managing and owning a portfolio of partner physician practices, serving as the primary point of contact, and providing routine updates. The consultant will partner with physician owners on strategic planning and execution, focusing on value-based care (VBC) and fee-for-service (FFS) performance, same-store growth, and succession planning. They will collaborate with Privia VBC and physician leadership to drive care transformation, track and manage key metrics (finance, revenue cycle, productivity, clinical performance, VBC, customer experience), and coach Care Center teams on strategies for success in value-based care agreements. The role also includes driving growth and operational improvement, facilitating action plans, reviewing financial performance data, developing presentation materials, evaluating and re-engineering practice workflows for efficiency, and mentoring practice administrators. The Operations Consultant will engage company resources as needed, manage expectations with Care Centers, and assist in developing and executing growth strategies. They will also coordinate and present at physician meetings, evaluate practice operations, maintain knowledge of healthcare topics, and develop expertise in software platforms like athenaHealth. Providing excellent customer service, ensuring compliance with regulations, aiding in the transition to risk-based reimbursement, and rolling out new Privia initiatives are also key responsibilities. Additionally, the role involves serving as a leader, offering feedback and coaching to Associate Consultants and MSO teams, and providing oversight to Performance Associates.
