About The Position

The Operations Associate performs store operations functions to create an outstanding customer experience. This is an early-morning role working with a team to complete operational tasks before the store opens. The position supports customer service, merchandise pricing and signing, replenishment, receiving, backroom organization, omnichannel services, and execution of merchandise placement plans. Associates also participate in ongoing learning about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes.

The pay range is USD $15.00 to $18.75 per hour. Eligible associates may receive company benefits and an associate discount.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer assistance while performing store operations.
• Change ticket prices and signage on merchandise throughout the store.
• Replenish and restock merchandise by pulling and preparing items for the sales floor.
• Work with coworkers to unload trucks and prepare merchandise in the backroom.
• Keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• Contribute to omnichannel operations, including Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Order Delivery and Returns, shipping online orders, and merchandise receiving.
• Execute leadership's merchandise placement plans efficiently and accurately, maintaining merchandising standards as goods move to the sales floor.
• Learn about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes through peers and training materials.
• Solve problems and make decisions that support sales, profit, or customer service; perform work efficiently and effectively.
• Provide great customer service, build positive and respectful relationships, and take accountability for actions and outcomes.
• Look for ways to improve the customer experience and take appropriate action with energy and urgency.
