About The Position

The Operations Associate supports the smooth and efficient functioning of back-of-house operations at Sandro and Maje in Bloomingdale’s SoHo. The role contributes to an exceptional customer experience and store performance through merchandise processing, inventory management, visual merchandising support, stockroom organization, asset protection, and sales-floor assistance.

Requirements

At least 1 year of prior sales support experience, including POS, merchandising paperwork, cycle counts, and inventory management.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work within established timelines.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Brand-appropriate personal presentation.
Strong communication skills with team members and leadership.
Flexibility with scheduling to meet business needs.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Check in and process incoming merchandise accurately and prepare it for the sales floor.
Coordinate timely and accurate store-to-store merchandise transfers.
Manage markdowns by updating prices and ensuring changes are reflected on the sales floor.
Process returns to vendors and maintain clear records in accordance with vendor guidelines.
Assist with floor sets and merchandise moves in line with brand guidelines.
Replenish merchandise and maintain appealing displays, signage, and visual standards.
Support shortage prevention and store asset protection.
Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and physical inventory preparation.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure environment.
Keep the stockroom organized and optimize stockroom space and restocking processes.
Assist with point-of-sale operations and accurate customer transactions.
Greet and assist customers on the sales floor.
