About The Position

SMCP is hiring a Retail Operations Associate to support back-of-house operations at Sandro and Maje in Bloomingdale’s at Beverly Center. The role helps ensure efficient store operations and contributes to an exceptional customer experience through merchandise processing, inventory management, visual merchandising support, stockroom organization, asset protection, and sales-floor assistance. The associate processes incoming merchandise, store-to-store transfers, markdowns, and returns to vendors; supports floor sets, replenishment, and presentation standards; and assists with shortage prevention, inventory counts, and safety protocols. The role also includes assisting with POS transactions and helping customers on the sales floor. Requirements

At least 1 year of prior sales support experience, including POS, merchandising paperwork, cycle counts, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

Check in and process incoming merchandise accurately and prepare it for the sales floor.
Coordinate timely and accurate store-to-store merchandise transfers.
Manage markdowns by updating prices and ensuring changes are reflected on the sales floor.
Process returns to vendors and maintain records in accordance with vendor guidelines.
Assist with floor sets and merchandise moves in line with brand guidelines.
Replenish merchandise and maintain visual displays and signage.
Support shortage prevention and store asset protection.
Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and physical inventory preparation.
Follow safety protocols.
Organize the stockroom and improve stockroom space use and restocking processes.
Assist with POS operations and accurate customer transactions.
Greet and assist customers on the sales floor.
