About The Position

The Operations Associate performs store operations functions to create an outstanding customer experience. This is an early morning position, working with a team to complete tasks before the store opens. The role includes customer assistance, pricing and signage, replenishing merchandise, receiving and preparing deliveries, maintaining backroom standards, supporting omnichannel services, and executing merchandise placement plans. Associates also learn about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assistance while working throughout the store.
• Change ticket prices and signage on merchandise across the store.
• Pull and prepare merchandise for the sales floor to replenish and restock the store.
• Work with co-workers to unload trucks and prepare merchandise in the backroom.
• Keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• Contribute to omnichannel efforts, including Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Order Delivery and Returns, shipping online orders, and merchandise receiving.
• Execute leadership's merchandise placement plans and maintain merchandising standards while moving goods to the sales floor.
• Learn about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes through peers and training materials.
• Solve problems and make decisions that support sales, profit, and customer service; work efficiently and effectively.
• Provide great customer service, build positive and respectful relationships, and take accountability for actions and outcomes.
• Look for ways to improve the customer experience and take appropriate action with energy and urgency.
