About The Position

The Operations Associate supports smooth, efficient store operations that contribute to an exceptional client experience. The role includes inventory management, stock replenishment, order fulfillment, operational standards, and visual merchandising. The associate helps ensure promotional displays and events accurately reflect Sephora’s brand, supports client service and sales goals, and fosters an inclusive, collaborative store culture. This is a regular part-time hourly position in Sephora’s Harbor East store in Baltimore, Maryland.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to learn quickly and absorb and communicate product knowledge.
Ability to support outstanding client service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Team-oriented and goal-driven mindset.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a strong client focus.
Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Availability during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Availability for 15–29 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Support daily store operations.
Manage inventory, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment, and maintain operational standards.
Assist with visual merchandising, promotional setups, and event execution.
Support the team in creating outstanding client experiences and achieving sales goals.
Help promote an open and inclusive culture where everyone feels empowered.
Follow company policies and help maintain a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours, and demonstrate punctuality and consistent attendance.
