Biohabitats is seeking an Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day functioning of our Chesapeake/Delaware Bays Bioregion and broader corporate operations. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and dependable professional who thrives in a dynamic, support-focused role. They are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate needs before they arise, bringing a strong sense of ownership to both daily tasks and longer-term responsibilities. This person is comfortable managing a wide range of priorities, from office coordination to administrative and operational support, and can shift seamlessly between them. They are an effective communicator who enjoys collaborating across teams and supporting leadership, while also working independently when needed. This person is also comfortable with technology and has an inquisitive nature of learning and developing new processes. A natural problem-solver with a service-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate takes pride in creating efficient systems, maintaining organized spaces, and contributing to a welcoming and inclusive environment.
