About The Position

An Operations Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in planning and driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When a manager is not onsite, the Operations Supervisor leads the store and supervisory staff, ensures smooth store operations, and oversees completion of opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
Advanced communication, supervision, and influencing skills.
Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a retail supervisor.

Responsibilities

Work effectively with store management and store crews.
Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
Communicate information to and from store management and crews.
Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
Promote CVS customer service practices by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
Provide colleagues with personalized customer service feedback and coaching.
Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
Price merchandise and stock shelves.
Support planning and execution of displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
Support planning and execution of off-shelf merchandise displays and their maintenance.
Ensure store operations run smoothly and complete opening and closing procedures when no manager is onsite.
