About The Position

The Operations and Tech Manager I with Aon Business Services – Integrated Services will support our Professional Liability & License Protection Claims function, leading the end-to-end management of professional liability, malpractice, regulatory, and licensing board claims. The role oversees claims administration, phone coverage, email customer service, legal coordination, quality, compliance, and team performance. This position serves as a subject matter expert and escalation point for insured professionals facing allegations, investigations, disciplinary actions, or civil liability matters, with a focus on protecting professional licenses, reputations, and financial interests. This position is for a hybrid schedule, in office and remote throughout the week in Fort Washington, PA. Requirements

  • 5+ years of business experience preferably in the insurance industry
  • Experience in Team Management, Project Management and Resource Planning
  • Self-starter with operational improvement / mentality
  • Has technical expertise to accomplish complex processes/tasks
  • Experience analyzing complex issues and coming up with creative solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong organizational skills. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication; both written and verbal
  • Proactive Management Style and consistent follow-through
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • P&C License

Responsibilities

  • Direct the handling of professional liability and license protection claims from initial notification through resolution
  • Manage customer support across phone and email channels, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, providing coverage guidance, and delivering exceptional service in a timely and professional manner
  • Oversee matters involving licensing board complaints, administrative hearings, professional misconduct allegations, malpractice claims, and disciplinary actions
  • Ensure timely claim investigations, coverage reviews, documentation, reserving, and resolution strategies
  • Serve as the escalation point for high-exposure, sensitive, urgent, or complex claims
  • Monitor claim inventory, aging, workloads, service levels, and closure activity
  • Interact with key business stakeholders up to executive level
  • Act as key liaison with carrier partner including complex claim resolution and audit administration
  • Evaluate need for system improvements based on feedback from process owners and operations teams
  • Work with advanced reporting and metrics, provide analysis and report out
