About The Position
Saint Peter's is seeking a talented, compassionate per diem Registered Nurse to join its Operating Room nursing team. Saint Peter's has earned its seventh consecutive Magnet designation and its first Magnet with Distinction designation, recognizing exceptional nursing practices and patient outcomes. The Operating Room RN contributes to a collaborative nursing team and provides patient care in accordance with Nursing Standards, established Standards of Care, and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
- BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience preferred.
- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities
- Contribute positively to the collaborative nursing team.
- Use assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards.
- Ensure procedures are performed according to established Standards of Care.
- Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
- Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.
