Operating Principal, CEO Office

Higgsfield•San Francisco, CA
•Onsite

About The Position

Higgsfield AI is hiring an Operating Principal to work directly with the CEO and senior executives on key company initiatives. Operating Principals are general problem solvers who own several projects at a time without a fixed functional lane. The role involves taking undefined problems from initial investigation through execution to a working outcome, handing off completed work, and moving to the next priority. The position is based in San Francisco, with regular trips to Almaty and additional travel to partners and markets as projects require. It offers direct access to the CEO, high ownership, and minimal process, with no team reporting to the role and no established playbook.

Requirements

  • Degree from a top-tier university, ideally in STEM or another highly quantitative field.
  • Track record of outstanding achievement in several different areas, such as olympiads, case competitions, elite scholarships, or building something that worked.
  • 3–5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a top-tier strategy consultancy, investment bank or private equity firm, Big Tech, or a fast-growing global technology company.
  • Experience working abroad, as an expat, or inside a global organisation as a non-native speaker.
  • Track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to end.
  • Ability to break complex problems into smaller, actionable problems and enjoyment of working with data.
  • Ability to write and present at a level suitable for board or Fortune 500 partner audiences without editing.
  • Natural curiosity, speed, and a strong desire to make an impact.
  • Right to work in the US.
  • Based in San Francisco or ready to relocate.

Nice To Haves

  • Chief-of-staff, founder’s-office, or BizOps experience after consulting or banking.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or generative AI tooling.
  • Background in AI, consumer technology, or media.

Responsibilities

  • Identify growth and revenue opportunities across products, markets, and partners.
  • Build and optimise processes that can scale with the company’s growth.
  • Lead and execute priority company initiatives end to end, including analysis, decision-making, execution, and follow-through.
  • Coordinate engineering, product, growth, and partnerships teams around a shared plan and unblock stalled work.
  • Prepare numbers, models, and one-pagers to support leadership, board, and investor decisions.
  • Take ambiguous problems from initial definition through execution to a working outcome and hand off completed work.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary in USD, based on experience, skills, and the scope of the role.
  • Equity participation through the company’s stock option program.
  • Collaborative, fast-paced environment with direct access to experienced leaders and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, ownership, and career development.
  • Company-provided equipment, meals, transportation, or other office benefits.
