The Open Rank Research Services Clinical Sciences Professional (Entry – Intermediate) role at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Department of Medicine – Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine, provides ongoing research operations support to two diverse research projects. The first project focuses on creative arts therapy interventions to reduce burnout symptoms and increase resiliency among healthcare personnel. The second project is a randomized-clinical trial evaluating an adaptive coping skills intervention to reduce psychological distress among cardiorespiratory failure survivors. This team member will work collaboratively to assist in the day-to-day activities of the Colorado Resiliency Arts Lab (CORAL), ensuring participant screening, enrollment, follow-up, and timeline tracking goals are met. They will maintain site setup for research activities, collaborate with the art lab facilitator, and monitor participant attendance, survey, and data collection. This role also facilitates participant stipends, participates in CORAL team meetings, and serves as a primary contact for participant questions and timeline tracking. Additionally, the individual will conduct screening, enrollment, and follow-up activities for a randomized clinical trial evaluating the impact of a mobile app-based intervention using adaptive coping skills training on psychological distress symptoms in hospitalized patients post-discharge.
