The OnSite Specialist provides clinical and technical support for surgical procedures and manages equipment before, during, and after procedures. The role supports operating-room teams by ensuring Stryker and third-party equipment is available and functioning, anticipating equipment needs, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining professional and accurate account and procedure records. The position works with surgeons, OR personnel, central processing, biomedical staff, and other relevant personnel, and provides product information and education to physicians and facility staff. For minimally invasive and related procedures, the specialist sets up and checks Stryker towers, booms, lights, and integrated suite systems; confirms equipment functionality and image routing; adjusts camera, monitor, and device settings during procedures; troubleshoots endoscopy and integration systems; and manages equipment breakdown, staging, cleaning, restocking, and basic maintenance afterward. The role may also support video conferencing, DICOM transfers, and EMR connectivity where applicable. The position also supports surgical readiness through case-cart and inventory work, including staging carts using surgeon preference cards, documenting missing instruments, coordinating replenishment, ensuring supplies and instruments are ready before procedures, managing postoperative put-backs and restocking, tracking inventory, communicating rapid-turnover and trauma needs, and supporting specialized inventory processes such as da Vinci, RMA, and par-level monitoring. The role requires coverage at the assigned account across shifts and may require coverage at other accounts, including on-call, overnight, weekend, or rotating shifts and overnight travel. Assigned shifts may change without notice based on account or business needs. Travel is listed as 10%.
