Onsite Property Manager - Training Provided
About The Position
Alexander Forrest Investments (AFI) is seeking an Onsite Property Manager. This role is directly responsible for driving asset performance, NOI growth, and profitability improvements for yourself, AFI, and our clients. As the face of the asset, the Property Manager must maximize financial returns and ensure adherence to the AFI Standard of a Safe, Clean, and Disciplined community. Prior Property Management experience is NOT a requirement, as AFI provides a robust 6-8 week paid training program ($48,000/yr) covering various markets. Upon successful completion, new Managers will be relocated to operate one of AFI's managed-assets, with a base salary increase to $60,000/yr, a 100% rent concession, and a performance-based incentive plan. Relocation outside of the current state of residency is a requirement for this position.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication/teamwork skills
- Professional presentation compatible with AFI Core Values
- Willingness to learn and work respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week with additional hours as required for proper management of asset
- Ability to solve problems involving: residents, personnel, finances, equipment/ maintenance issues, emergency situations, etc.
- Willingness to relocate outside of current state of residency
Responsibilities
- Daily oversight/maintenance of curb appeal
- Promotion of Property through outside marketing campaigns
- Performance of showings to interested applicants
- Relationship building in the local community
- Management of onsite residents including but not limited to rent collection, evictions proceedings, community rule enforcement, etc.
- Budget management and financial reporting
