Onsite Maintenance Technician (Summit Towers)
About The Position
The Onsite Maintenance Technician works at Summit Towers, an oceanfront residential community in Hollywood, Florida. The role handles daily maintenance and custodial responsibilities across the community, including facility cleaning and minor maintenance and repairs to facilities, structures, equipment, sidewalks, and drainage. Work may involve skilled and semi-skilled tasks in plumbing, masonry, carpentry, flooring, irrigation, and electrical work. The technician performs general and preventative maintenance to help keep facilities and parks safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient. A personal vehicle and maintenance cart are used for work transportation. Related duties may be assigned as directed by management, and responsibilities may evolve based on Board direction and community needs.
Requirements
- Condominium association, multi-family, and/or commercial building maintenance experience is required.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- OSHA 30 designation preferred.
- EPA Universal designation preferred.
- CPO designation preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and custodial work in assigned areas.
- Complete daily routine general and preventative facilities maintenance and repair tasks.
- Clean facilities and perform minor repairs to facilities, structures, equipment, sidewalks, and drainage.
- Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance work, including plumbing, masonry, carpentry, flooring, irrigation, and electrical tasks.
- Use a personal vehicle and maintenance cart for work transportation.
- Perform related work as directed by management.
