The University of Alberta Faculty of Law is seeking a legally qualified individual to lead the content development for an asynchronous online criminal law course. This course is an important part of a new undergraduate certificate program in Law; the audience is non-JD undergraduate students enrolled at the University of Alberta and those enrolled in the undergraduate certificate program. The course will be a polished, for-credit, optional course that students can complete online with little to no assistance. Course content should remain relevant for a three to five year period. With the assistance of TAs, the course developer will compile and create all substantive content for the course, including micro-lecture videos, readings, assignments, and quizzes. No graphic design or web design experience is required, as the drafted course content will be provided to a design team to convert into a high quality online format.
