About The Position

Most people over 65 who need mental health care never get it. Not because it doesn't exist — because nobody ever told them it was for them, covered by their insurance, and available from their living room. We need someone who can change that with a camera, an editing timeline, and a funnel that actually converts. If you've ever made a video that made a stranger cry and then click — keep reading. About Total Life Total Life is a national behavioral health platform built specifically for older adults. We connect people to licensed therapists across 49+ states, and we take Original Medicare Part B — billed directly, so most of our clients pay nothing out of pocket. We were founded in 2021 after our CEO, Neelam Brar, watched her own mother struggle to get adequate mental health support during a hard stretch of her life. That experience is still the reason this company exists. Here's the hard part of the job, and the interesting part: our clients are 65+, but the person who finds us is often a 45-year-old daughter at 11pm googling "how do I help my mom," or a 22-year-old grandkid who noticed grandpa stopped calling. Three generations. Three completely different scroll behaviors. One message that has to land with all of them. That's your creative canvas.

Requirements

  • You have a reel or portfolio of short-form video you personally made that performed — and you can tell us exactly why each one worked
  • You've built and launched at least one full funnel end to end: creative → landing page → automation → conversion
  • You're genuinely comfortable in HubSpot (workflows, forms, lists, reporting) and Make.com or a comparable automation tool (Zapier, n8n)
  • You can write. Hooks, scripts, email copy, ad copy — all of it
  • You read analytics without being asked and change your plan because of them
  • You can produce 10+ finished assets a week without the wheels coming off
  • You have taste in a category that usually has none — this space is full of stock-photo seniors laughing at salad, and we refuse to be that

Nice To Haves

  • You've made content for or about older adults, caregivers, or healthcare — or you've lived the caregiving experience yourself
  • Paid social experience: you understand what makes a creative work as an ad, not just organically
  • Motion graphics, sound design, or a strong design eye
  • You've worked with creators, or you've been the creator on camera

Responsibilities

  • Make a lot of video. Short-form for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. Long-form for YouTube and paid. Talk-to-camera, voiceover-over-b-roll, testimonial-style, founder-led, UGC-style, animated explainer — whatever the hook demands. We're not looking for one format. We're looking for volume, range, and speed.
  • Write hooks that stop a scroll about a topic people avoid. "Therapy for seniors" is not a hook. "My mom hasn't left the house in six weeks and I live 2,000 miles away" is. You'll write the scripts, not just shoot them.
  • Build the funnel behind every video. This is the part that separates this role from a normal content gig. A video is the top of a machine you also build: hook → landing page or lead magnet → email/SMS sequence → booked call. You'll wire that yourself in Make.com and HubSpot — forms, workflows, lists, lifecycle stages, UTM discipline, the whole thing. If a video pops and the funnel behind it leaks, that's on you to find and fix.
  • Track outcomes, not vanity. Views are a leading indicator. We care about cost per lead, lead-to-booked rate, and booked-to-attended. You'll own a dashboard, know your numbers cold, and be able to tell us which of last week's 12 posts is worth $5,000 in spend and which three to kill.
  • Ship fast and iterate faster. Our cadence is weekly, not quarterly. You'll post, read the data, cut new variants of what worked, and run it again. A rough edit that ships Tuesday beats a beautiful one that ships in three weeks.
  • Edit everything yourself. Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci, After Effects — we don't care which, we care that you're fast and that captions, pacing, and sound design are second nature.

Benefits

  • Equity options
  • Health, dental, vision
  • Generous PTO
  • Remote-first with a home office or equipment stipend.
  • A learning/conference budget
