Oncology Service Line Manager Oncology Program
About The Position
The Oncology Service Line Manager provides operational, financial, quality, and regulatory leadership for the Merle M. Mahr Cancer Center. The service line includes Hematology/Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Palliative Medicine physician practices, Infusion Services, and Radiation Therapy. This position coordinates daily operations and supports the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered cancer care through leadership, strategic planning, operational excellence, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. The manager contributes to the hospital’s mission, strategic goals, policies, and procedures, and applies evidence-based outcomes to support clinical performance and service-line quality and safety goals.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least one year of leadership experience.
- Current Kentucky State Board of Nursing license required.
- Basic Life Support required.
- Complete a Lean Six Sigma course or similar within one year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Oncology-related certification and/or nursing leadership certification preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma course or similar preferred.
