About The Position

Wake Robin is seeking an Onboarding & Training Coordinator to help create a welcoming and supportive experience for Health & Resident Services staff. This role supports a strong orientation, coordinates staff education programs, and manages training and certification tracking. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and motivated to help new employees feel confident, prepared, and connected as they begin their career at Wake Robin.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a field such as business administration, organizational management, healthcare, or related discipline.
  • Experience in long-term care, healthcare, or clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a high-paced work environment.
  • Collaborative, approachable and professional demeanor with a passion for supporting employee success.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for new Health & Resident Services staff, helping them feel supported and connected from their first day.
  • Support the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Facilitate orientation programs to introduce new hires to company policies, procedures, culture and commitment to resident-centered care.
  • Coordinate staff orientation schedules and preceptors.
  • Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS): assign modules, track completions, and maintain training content for staff.
  • Coordinate CPR certification sessions for staff and manage CPR tracking.
  • Track CEUs (Continuing Education Units) for staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee training and certifications to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • In partnership with Nurse Educator, support ongoing education initiatives that promote staff growth and professional development.
  • Design and maintain monthly education calendars that list training programs and opportunities to meet clinical and regulatory requirements for staff.
