About The Position

T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. We're focused on building advanced American manufacturing and we're passionate about engineering a better future filled with abundant energy. We're looking for an organized, people-first Onboarding Supervisor to be the first friendly face our new hires see. In this role, you'll lead a team of Onboarders while owning the entire onboarding experience from day one — making sure every new team member feels welcomed, set up for success, and ready to hit the floor running. You'll also keep our HR systems accurate and up to date, so our team's records are always in good shape.

Requirements

  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (UKG experience is a big plus), time and attendance systems, and digital document management.
  • Strong attention to detail — you catch errors before they become problems.
  • Great communication skills and a welcoming, professional demeanor with new hires.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of I-9 compliance, e-Verify, and general employment documentation requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred — or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of HR administrative or onboarding experience, ideally in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Experience with high-volume onboarding (seasonal or production ramp-ups).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of Onboarders, providing day-to-day direction, performance feedback, and support.
  • Lead and coordinate the full onboarding process for all new hires, from pre-employment paperwork through their first weeks on the job.
  • Set up and maintain employee profiles in our time clock and HRIS systems (we use UKG), ensuring accuracy from day one.
  • Process employee lifecycle changes — including promotions, pay adjustments, transfers, and terminations — in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for new employees who have questions about their paperwork, benefits enrollment, or general HR processes.
  • Partner with department managers and supervisors to schedule and coordinate new hire orientations.
  • Maintain organized, compliant employee files (both digital and physical) in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations.
  • Identify gaps or pain points in the onboarding experience and recommend improvements.
  • Support audits and reporting needs by pulling employee data and documentation as required.
  • Assist the HR Director with special projects and administrative priorities as needed.
