About The Position
This is an internal opportunity for an Onboarding Specialist within the MVA Private School team. The role handles advanced student onboarding, including data management, transcript analysis, graduate processing, and state-specific scholarship administration in Arizona and Tennessee. The position is also posted externally, and internal candidates are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple student timelines
- Solid understanding of FERPA, MVA policies, and state compliance requirements (AZ, TN, IN)
- Proactive communicator — responds within 30 minutes via Zoom/Bamboo during working hours
- Reliable remote setup with consistent availability during scheduled hours
- Must successfully complete a background check and fingerprinting as a condition of employment.

- Experience with Edmentum, Genius SIS, or Gooru
Responsibilities
- Setting up students in Edmentum and scheduling to teachers and courses
- Analyzing transcripts and creating Educational Development Plans (EDPs)
- Assigning diagnostics and managing full record requests
- Gooru rostering and SIS data management
- Generating report cards, progress reports, and course completions
- Maintaining the Potential Graduate List and overseeing graduate processing
- Preparing State Testing Letters, Enrollment Letters, and Legal Paperwork
- Processing work permits
- Supporting audits and state compliance reporting
- Arizona & Tennessee: Scholarship communications, timeline tracking, and payment coordination
