Shared Imaging is currently looking to hire a Full Time Onboarding Specialist in the Downers Grove, IL area! The onboarding specialist is responsible for managing all onboarding components for new employees and works closely with hiring managers. This position focuses on ensuring all new employees have all the necessary paperwork completed and ensuring compliance with the Joint Commission.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree (Human Resources, Business, Communications, etc.)
  • 1-3 years of experience in an HR related role

  • Must be willing to go into headquarters in Downers Grove, IL as needed
  • Must reside in or near the Downers Grove, IL area
  • Within a commutable distance, 40 miles
  • Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM CST (40 hours per week)
  • We require that all Shared Imaging LLC employees have a completed background check and drug screen on file.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming newly hired employees and creating engaging onboarding experience.
  • On-boards all new hires, including background checks, drug screens, licensure verification, past employment verification, and education verification.
  • Ensure white-glove service to all new employees.
  • Manage new hire orientation and keep all material up to date.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for hiring managers and newly hired employees.
  • Utilizes Asana to manage onboarding process and keeping system up to date on each new hires progress.
  • Verify or provide required certifications and screening: CPR certification, tuberculosis screening, hepatitis, Varicella, Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps, DOT physical, random drug screens, and fingerprinting requirements.
  • Implement and monitor initial training and new hire competency evaluations: Ensure that all new hires complete the required trainings prior to being cleared to work.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve the department's efficiency and services.
  • Maintains human resource information systems, records, and compiles reports from the database.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
