About The Position

Surge Staffing’s On-site Supervisor primarily meets the temporary staffing and/or training needs of a major Surge client. The role provides high-quality service to the customer and temporary employees by matching temporary employees’ skills to customer needs, and develops and retains business through outstanding customer service. The position also performs administrative tasks that support quality service and performance and may supervise one or more On-site Staffing Specialists.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Proven leadership or success in a previous managerial role.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build or enhance successful business partnerships.
• At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience or 3–5 years of customer service experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Administrative skills.
• Experience performing background checks, I-9 processing, and E-Verify.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the internet.

Responsibilities

• Meet the temporary help and/or training needs of a major Surge client.
• Provide high-quality service to the customer and temporary employees.
• Develop and retain business by providing outstanding customer service.
• Perform administrative tasks supporting quality service and performance.
• Monitor employee attendance.
• Process and assist with workers’ compensation claims.
• Reconcile invoices from vendors.
• Supervise one or more On-site Staffing Specialists, if assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
