About The Position

Grainger is hiring a part-time On-Site Service Representative in Grenada, Mississippi. The role supports assigned customers by managing inventory and providing customer service, while driving account growth through customers’ KeepStock inventory management programs. The representative works with partners to implement sales strategy and help customers understand how Grainger can address their maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) needs.

Requirements

Three years of experience in a selling or service environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift 25 to 60 pounds and/or work in difficult positions.
Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle different technical and operational issues.
Valid driver’s license in the state of residence, maintained throughout employment.
Must carry required levels of automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

Service multiple customer locations.
Receive and stock purchased products in designated customer locations, and scan inventory as it is depleted to maintain appropriate stocking levels and support ordering.
Promptly resolve customer problems to retain and promote customer loyalty.
Follow the route defined by routing software tools and maintain route guides.
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, processes, and cycle time.
Comply with the safety and inspection requirements of each facility where service is provided.
Engage customers to identify additional product needs and help create new orders.
Probe for customer needs during each site visit and work with sales partners to expand Grainger offerings.
Work with partners to implement sales strategy and help customers understand Grainger’s solutions for their MRO needs.
