On Call Transfer Driver

About The Position

The On Call Transfer Driver transports trucks between branches or to customers as needed, helping maintain efficient and reliable operations. The role requires compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols, including performing thorough pre-trip inspections. The driver also completes assigned learning modules, adapts to traffic and road conditions, and performs other duties as assigned to support the business.

This is a part-time, Monday–Friday, on-call position. Compensation is $23.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least five years of driving history.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Ability to adhere to established safe-driving guidelines.
• Ability to perform tasks safely and follow safety rules and guidelines.
• Ability to work safely and well with others.
• Dependable and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Transport trucks from branch to branch or from a branch to customers.
• Follow all DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Perform pre-trip truck inspections.
• Complete assigned learning modules.
• Navigate traffic and road conditions to support timely deliveries.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the business.
