About The Position
The Transfer Driver transports trucks between JX Enterprises branches and to customers as needed, helping maintain efficient and reliable operations. The role requires compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols, thorough pre-trip inspections, participation in assigned learning modules, and adapting to traffic and road conditions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, on-call.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least five years of driving history.
- Must be at least 25 years old.
- Ability to adhere to established safe-driving guidelines.
- Ability to perform tasks safely while following safety rules and guidelines.
- Ability to work safely and well with others.
- Dependable and reliable attendance.
Responsibilities
- Shuttle trucks from branch to branch or from a branch to a customer.
- Follow all DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip truck inspections.
- Complete all assigned learning modules.
- Troubleshoot traffic flow and road conditions to support timely delivery.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the business.
