About The Position

The Nurse Care Supervisor oversees the quality of care delivery for Right at Home. Responsibilities include conducting initial client assessments and onboarding, developing plans of care, training and supervising caregivers, and counseling clients. The role also includes assigned rotating on-call duties outside regular hours. This is a field position involving travel to client locations; when not traveling, work takes place in a home environment.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Standard MS Office skills.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
• Automobile in good working order.

Nice To Haves

• College degree in Nursing preferred.
• Two years of Med-Surg clinical experience preferred.
• One to two years of home health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee caregivers to ensure quality assurance and that plans of care are followed.
• Train caregivers in Right at Home systems and processes for quality client care.
• Fill medication organizers and counsel clients and families on proper medication management.
• Meet with prospective clients and their families to conduct assessments and propose plans of care.
• Act as a patient advocate for selected cases.
• Complete required caregiver supervisory visits and introductions or assessments as assigned.
• Communicate with health-related personnel to coordinate client care plans.
• Handle assigned off-hours on-call duties on a rotating basis.
