Requirements

• Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, B.E.O operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals is preferred.
• Great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
• Comfortably communicate in English.
• Regularly required to talk and hear.
• Frequently required to walk and stand for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand, finger and wrist dexterity.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and taking down the event space during their day.
• Reading the BEO to determine the specified layout of tables, chairs and props.
• Maintaining cleanliness and good condition of all banquet function space according to the programs and plans.
• Stocking linen, China, sliver, and other supplies in preparation for each event.
• Preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up.
• Reporting imperfections and blemishes and working with several other positions to correct them.
