About The Position

OLEDWorks is seeking co-op students for Spring 2027 to gain hands-on experience with OLED technology at its Rochester-based company, which manufactures OLED devices for the lighting, automotive, and display industries. The co-op offers work in a flexible, energetic environment alongside company innovators and engineers.

The work focuses on Software and Systems Engineering, including writing software to control equipment in research and development and production areas, and coding to collect, analyze, and present data. Co-op students will work closely with company engineers and are expected to finish the co-op with an enhanced understanding of OLED technology and software programming in an R&D and production environment.

Requirements

• Must have programming experience.
• Must be working toward a degree in, or have a field of study in, Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Must be comfortable working independently and coordinating with others.
• Must have problem-solving ability.
• Must be able to adapt to a changing and growing company environment and seek solutions with a positive outlook.
• Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to work on various projects.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Python, SQL, or LabView is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write software that controls equipment in R&D and production areas.
