About The Position
OLEDWorks is seeking co-op students to gain hands-on experience with OLED technology at its Rochester-based company, which manufactures Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) devices for the lighting, automotive, and display industries. Co-op students work in a flexible and energetic environment alongside innovators. The experience is intended to provide an enhanced understanding of OLED technology and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Able to work independently and coordinate with others.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Able to adapt to a changing and growing company environment and seek solutions with a positive outlook.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Willing to work on projects with different scopes of work.
Nice To Haves
- Working toward a degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Participate in process optimization and continuous improvement activities.
- Fabricate and test tooling and fixtures.
- Collect and analyze data.
- Develop safety and quality systems and documentation.
- Work closely with design and/or manufacturing engineers.
