OLED Electronics Engineering Co-op
About The Position
OLEDWorks is seeking co-op students to gain hands-on experience with OLED technology at its Rochester-based company, which manufactures Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) devices for the lighting, automotive, and display industries. Co-op work will include at least one of these areas: printed circuit board (PCB) assembly; OLED demonstrator design, assembly, and repair; or writing and debugging OLED demonstration software. The co-op is intended to help students develop an enhanced understanding of OLED technology and user experience in an R&D and production environment. Students work in a flexible, energetic environment alongside innovators.
Requirements
- Be working toward a degree in, or studying, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Have at least a basic understanding of electronic components and circuit diagrams.
- Be familiar with hand soldering, common laboratory tools, 3D CAD, and FDM 3D printing technology.
- Be comfortable working independently and coordinating with others.
- Demonstrate problem-solving ability, adaptability, attention to detail, self-motivation, and willingness to work on projects with varying scopes.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Python and/or embedded C.
