OLED Electronics Engineering Co-op
About The Position
OLEDWorks is a growing Rochester-based global company that manufactures Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) devices for the lighting, automotive, and display industries. The co-op offers hands-on experience learning about OLED technology in a flexible, energetic environment alongside innovators. Work will include at least one of these areas: printed circuit board (PCB) assembly; OLED demonstrator design, assembly, and repair; or writing and debugging OLED demonstration software. The co-op is intended to enhance students’ understanding of OLED technology and user experience in an R&D and production environment. OLEDWorks is an equal opportunity organization. Requirements
- Be comfortable working independently and coordinating with others.
- Have problem-solving ability and adaptability in a changing, growing company environment.
- Be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to work on projects with varying scopes.
- Have at least a basic understanding of electronic components and circuit diagrams.
- Be working toward a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or have a field of study in one of these areas.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with hand soldering, common lab tools, 3D CAD, and FDM 3D printing technology.
- Experience with Python and/or embedded C.
Responsibilities
